Context & Challenge
A global ASX-listed organisation recognised the need to better integrate employee wellbeing, accessibility, and psychosocial risk management into its broader people strategy. Existing wellbeing initiatives operated independently of organisational risk management, accessibility considerations were inconsistently embedded into product development, and employee support services required evaluation to ensure they met workforce needs.
Strategy & Execution
Jessie designed and implemented an enterprise wellbeing strategy aligned with organisational priorities, employee feedback, and contemporary best practice in psychosocial risk management. In consultation with leaders, Jessie undertook a comprehensive psychosocial hazards audit to identify organisational risk factors and appropriate controls.
Jessie also led an evaluation of the effectiveness of the organisation's Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a comprehensive provider review, and successful transition to a new service better aligned with workforce needs. These initiatives were supported by targeted education and leadership engagement to ensure inclusion, wellbeing, and safety became embedded within everyday organisational practices rather than standalone programs.
Results & Impact
The organisation established a more integrated approach to employee wellbeing and psychosocial risk management, with governance mechanisms supporting continuous improvement across each area. Psychosocial risks were systematically identified and managed through organisational controls, and employees gained access to enhanced wellbeing supports through a more fit-for-purpose EAP, among other initiatives. Together, these initiatives strengthened psychological safety and improved organisational capability to manage workplace risks.
